Established in 1987 Overland is a specialist in the design, sourcing and wholesale of branded men's and women's footwear. Overland Shoes has been a licensee credited with building footwear businesses for CAT, Paul Smith, Frye, Merrell, Wolverine, Vilebrequin Chasseurs and G-Star Raw Footwear and are currently the licensee for Karl Lagerfeld footwear, G.H.BASS and Sonia Rykiel.
The Overland Shoes Headquarters, in which houses the design, marketing and administration teams, are based in London, England, whilst sales offices are located in major European countries. Our sourcing and development offices are located in China and Italy.
Owned and managed by Stephen Palmer - Overland Shoes was built by the highly respected footwear industry veteran who has spent his career in footwear manufacturing, design and distribution and is supported by a strong senior management team with a wealth of experience in the footwear industry.

Since Fall 2017 Overland Shoes has designed and distributed Karl Lagerfeld shoes for men and women in Europe, Middle East and Asia, adopting The signature KARL LAGERFELD aesthetic that combines Parisian classics with a rock-chic attitude.
Established in 1876 by George Henry Bass, G.H.BASS began with a man on a simple mission -“To make the best possible shoe for the purpose for which it was intended.” In 1936, the brand put a stylish spin on a Norwegian farm shoe designed for “loafing in the field,” and playfully dubbed them Weejuns –introducing the world’s very first penny loafer.
Since 2014, Overland Shoes have designed, marketed and distributed G.H.BASS’ iconic footwear across Europe Asia and Africa using the same time-honoured handmade techniques pioneered in 1936.
Starting Spring 2023 Overland Shoes will be responsible for the design, marketing and sales of footwear for the iconic Parisian label Sonia Rykiel founded in Saint-Germain-Des-Prés by Sonia Rykiel in 1968.
Following Sonia Rykiel’s signature of freedom, audacity and self-confidence, the range will take inspiration from its deep French heritage.
